Born and raised in Meadville, Bill Lawrence has owned and operated Bill Lawrence’s Personal Fitness, a group fitness training facility, in downtown Meadville for the past 25 years.
Lawrence also successfully owns and operates BLN Supplements and Lawrence Rentals, LLC. He and his wife, Tara, are commercial property owners in the city and formerly residential landlords. Bill & Tara have two sons in the Meadville school system and have owned their home in the city limits for 22 years.
Bill loves Meadville, PA but knows we are in some serious trouble! The current council members ran on a platform of listening to the residents of Meadville but they have actually ignored and alienated half of the city over the last two years. They are spending funds we don't have on things we don't immediately need.
Bill believes Meadville can flourish if it’s run like a business. This means working with business leaders, cutting wasteful spending and finding new, creative ways to bring in revenue. Our city is $1,000,000 in debt and we need to make some changes before it’s too late.
Compromise is the cornerstone of getting things done and bringing people together to communicate effectively and create solutions is the plan. This election isn’t about Republican or Democrat, it’s about creating a better Meadville for all of our families.
