The Iowa Bicycling Action Fund is the lobbying arm of Iowa's bicycle advocacy organizations. We work to advance pro-bicycling policy in the Iowa Legislature. Our efforts target increasing funding for bicycle infrastructure and passing policies that positively increase safety for bicyclists.
Lobbying and policy work cost money and we don't often like to talk about that. Our budget includes $15,000 for lobbyists; $2,000 for our grassroots email system; $1,200 for our database; and countless hours of staff time, travel, and meetings.
