Jonathan Clark Green has over thirty years of legal experience in both the public and private sectors, in both federal and state courts. Jonathan is currently a Supervising Attorney in the City of Chicago Department of Law, where he engages in civil litigation, having tried a number of jury trials to verdict. Jonathan works to improve transparency and accountability at the City as the Liaison City Attorney for the new Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) in court proceedings, protecting the integrity of investigations of police misconduct at the agency and assisting in the implementation of the City’s new consent decree. A long-time chair-certified arbitrator for the mandatory arbitration program of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Jonathan has practiced in nearly all divisions of the Circuit Court of Cook County throughout his career. In the private sector, Jonathan also worked both to recognize and enforce child support and maintenance payments and to protect defrauded senior citizens as a Special Assistant Attorney General working in securities fraud litigation.
