Kari Denitzio for Walpole School Committee
I've lived in Walpole for 10 years, and served as an RTM for the past 3. I got involved in our town government because I believe young families need a strong voice in the decision-making that will affect our town for generations to come.

Public education is my profession, and something I believe in strongly as a mechanism for improving the lives of children and strengthening communities. It’s important to have educators on our town’s school committee to provide a perspective on the practical implications of decisions made by elected officials.

This fall I will officially become a proud WPS parent and look forward to participating in my children’s education. Not every family has the resources to advocate for their child’s education, but every child deserves to be advocated for. I want to apply my knowledge, experience, and passion to advocate for all of Walpole’s students, families, and educators.

Some of the priorities I believe our district needs to focus on are:
  • a responsible, long-term solution to our middle-school building needs
  • increased resources to support students' social-emotional learning and development
  • a continued push for free Full-Day Kindergarten and other initiatives that promote equity in our schools
  • investment in tools and technology to support teacher innovation in the classroom

I would be honored to have your support in this work!
