I followed my heart to JBLM and fell in love with Lacey. Like many of you I arrived in Lacey as a military transplant. My future husband was stationed at Joint Base Lewis McChord. I traveled across the country from Saint Cloud, Florida expecting to make amazing memories in the beautiful Pacific North West. I did not anticipate the exceptional warmth and support of this phenomenal community.
After receiving an honorable discharge and numerous accolades ( I'm a proud wife! ) my husband and I decided to build our business and family here. We specialize in high and hard to reach exterior cleaning. At the inception of our venture we formed a vision to include our core values; to build a green business, provide living wage employment opportunities, and to serve the community that provides for our family.
As our business progressed I found connections with other like minded individuals who share a passion for building our community through service and advocacy. I sit on the board of directors for Hawks Prairie Rotary, hold the role of president for the Zonta Club of Olympia, participate as an ambassador with the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce, and am a active member in our own South Sound Chamber. My participation with these organizations allows me to share in the discussion and work toward solutions to lift up our most vulnerable neighbors and maintain sustainable, responsible economic growth.
My professional career has taught me customer service, dedication, and follow through are vital aspects of success. I will endeavor to bring those traits with me if elected to city council. I will always put Lacey's customers, you the constituents, ahead of my personal feelings and the petty politics we all endure. Lacey needs a path forward built on the tenants of sustainable growth that respects our environment and promotes a quality of life second to none. I am committed to work for all residents and bring bountiful opportunities to our home.
