I believe in the collective power of the Evanston community. As a current member and Vice-President of the Evanston Township High School (ETHS) District 202 Board of Education, a graduate of Evanston/Skokie public schools, and a parent of an ETHS alumnus, I deeply understand the value of public education. I have watched our community’s ability to stand behind our students and educators to lead our school community through incredible, life-changing work.
I am running for re-election to the District 202 Board of Education because, now more than ever, the future of our community depends on how well we prepare our students. I firmly believe that the District 202 board must remain focused on providing solutions for today's challenges and the unique needs of ALL of our students. The care and well-being of our students deserve everyone's attention. I am running for my third term because of the sense of urgency that I feel to ensure our students and their families are receiving the resources they need.
My re-election campaign priorities are aligned with our current District 202 Board Goals, which
are to:
- Provide an equitable and excellent education for all students at ETHS
- Promote a school culture that centers student well-being
- Provide fiscal accountability and transparency
- Strengthen community engagement and partnerships
