As a father of four with children attending SOMS, CLE, and WOS, Steve has a vested interest in the district, both as a taxpayer and a dad. Steve is an active member of the SOCSD community and has served as a class ambassador at the elementary school level and as a youth baseball coach with the Palisades-Sparkill Baseball League (PSBL). Born, raised, and educated in New York, Steve lives in Piermont with his young family.
Steve's ten-plus years of experience in facilities and operations management provide a crucial advantage at a moment when the district is proposing the first major infrastructure overhaul in its history. Steve will use his expertise in budget oversight to guarantee that every penny of the proposed bond is accounted for. Most importantly, Steve will ensure that our kids’ schools get the capital improvements they need and deserve, and he will eliminate waste from the budget to squeeze maximum value out of every dollar.
Steve is running to make a difference in the community he loves, and to ensure a bright future for his kids and ours. As a native Spanish-speaker, he hopes to bring every South Orangetown family into the conversation and keep our district #1 in Rockland County.
